Description:
Grinding is the first step of mechanical material removal. Proper grinding removes damaged or deformed surface material, while limiting the amount of additional surface deformation. The goal is a plane surface with minimal damage that can easily be removed during polishing in the shortest possible time.
Specifications:
- Four-stage grinding station.
- Water flow for lubrication and cooling of the specimen.
- Water activated clamping holds abrasive papers firmly in position during the grinding process.
- Flush system removes grinding residues from the grits when the operation has finished.
- Abrasiver Rolls: P180, P320, P500 and P1000
