Electrospinning apparatus

Homemade electrospinning apparatus for fiber formation which utilizes electrical forces to produce polymer fibers with diameters ranging from 2 nm to several micrometers using polymer solutions of both natural and synthetic polymers. The setup is composed of a high voltage power supply, a syringe pump and a grounded collector.

High voltage power supply

  • Positive polarity
  • Output voltage: 0-30 kV
  • Output current: 1.5 mA

Syringe pump

  • Syringe size: 10 – 60 mL
  • Flowrate range: 0.1 µL/h – 506 µL/h
