Electro-optical bench

Location: NMR Lab
Responsible: Pedro Marques de Almeida

Description: The optical bench is composed by two lasers with different wavelength (red and orange), all the optical material such as rails, mounts, polarizers, beam splitters, sample holders, etc. Is equipped with photodetectors, a function generator and an ampli-fier, all of the connected to a digital oscilloscope that is linked to a computer. The opti-cal bench permits optical and electro-optical measurements being focused on liquid crys-tals and liquid crystal devices.
