Plástico vs. Papel. Uma guerra sem fim à vista
Será que o papel é o melhor substituto do plástico? Ou o abate de milhares de árvores tem mais consequências no ambiente do que o uso de couvetes plastificadas? Existirá alguma solução para além destes dois materiais? Bruxelas já implementou algumas regras que restringem o uso do plástico, mas será que estamos a precipitar-nos? O plástico é, de facto, o inimigo número 1 da sociedade?

On April 11, i3N received a visit from the FCT-MCTES Evaluation Panel of Engineering Sciences and Technologies - Materials Science and Engineering and Nanotechnology as part of the ongoing evaluation of the research units.

Prime Minister of the Netherlands and Prime Minister of Portugal met with PhD students at FCT NOVA
Prof. Elvira Fortunato has been asked by the office of the Prime Minister to speak about the importance of the High Level Group of EU where she is Chief Science Advisor as well as about the excellent work done by i3N in particular with the 6 ERCs already granted.  
Mark Rutte, Prime Minister of the Netherlands and António Costa, Prime Minister of Portugal, said that research plays a key role in the future of Europe in the meeting with PhD students and researchers at FCT NOVA on the morning of 3 April.
