I received my first master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Universidade do Algarve in 2014. More recently, in 2019 I received a master's degree in Bioorganic Chemistry from Universidade Nova de Lisboa. In September 2019 I started my PhD in Materials Science and Engineering at Universidade Nova de Lisboa. My main scientific interests are material science applied to the tailoring of porous materials, organic chemistry, application and development of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy to study molecular interaction processes, especially in ionic liquids and poly(ionic liquid)s. In January 2018 I joined i3N|CENIMAT in the NMR lab where I worked under the project CleanART. After that, I worked under the project GREENPILs4CO2 and under the project Suporte de Líquidos Iónicos from Petrobras. During my academic and professional path, I have attended several national and international congresses and conferences. In 2023, I was awarded a grant under the AERoGELS COST Action CA18125 for a Short-Term Scientific Mission, a grant that I also won in 2021 and 2022. I am a member of COST Action CA18125 (AERoGELS) and collaborate with national and international institutions, including Universidad de Santiago de Compostela (Prof. Dr. Carlos A. García-González - aerogels production and processing), Universidad Jaume I (Prof. Dr. Victor Sans - CO2 cycloaddition in continuous-flow), and Universidade de Évora (Prof. Dr. Manuela R. Carrott - CO2 capture).
