We are pleased to host Prof. Catarina Pinto Reis, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Lisbon, and researcher at IBEB (FCUL), for the 11th edition of NANOMAT-Talks. Her talk will explore the use of gold nanoparticles in photothermal cancer therapy, highlighting their unique properties, targeting capabilities, and potential to improve precision and effectiveness in oncological treatments. This session will also address current challenges and emerging strategies in the field of nanomedicine.
