FEMS Communication Award for Excellence in MSE attributed to Manuel J. Mendes

 

It is with immense joy that CEMOP announce that their teacher and researcher Manuel Mendes won the 3rd edition prize in exe quo, due to his work on Solar Energy and Photonics.

In 2018, the European Materials Federation (FEMS) instituted the FEMS Communication Award for Excellence in Materials Science and Engineering, awarded to young European materials scientists (under 40 at the time of nomination) who have distinguished themselves by meaning of his research work and his ability to know how to communicate effectively, whether in industry or academy.

The prize is awarded to young people who have been proposed for this, among the 22 European countries that make up FEMS, and then voted at European level, by the FEMS own bodies.
