Olalla Sanchez-Sobrado, PhD by the Institute of Materials Science of the Spanish National Research Council. Currently, she is carrying out her postdoctoral research at the CENIMAT/i3N of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, in the field of fabrication and characterization of photonic nanostructures for applications in photovoltaics. She has a total of twelve works to her name in the Institute of Scientific Information (ISI), five as first author, that have been published in international journals of highest impact in the field of material science, photonics or nanotechnology. Three of their papers as first author obtained the cover picture of their respective issues. She is also author of two publications without peer review process, one of them as first author. Her h-index is 7. Also, she participated during her first postdoctoral stay at the Max Plank Institute in a Patent as co-inventor. The applicant’s PhD work was awarded with the cicCartuja 2010 Award. The prize was awarded by Cristina Garmendia, the former Spanish Minister of Science and Technology.
