IoT Hackathon 2015 Lisbon Portugal foi selecionado como país anfitrião da IoT Week 2015 (www.iot-week.eu).
O evento decorrerá de 16-18 Junho no Centro de Congressos de Lisboa. A IoT Week teve origem no Cluster Europeu de Investigação em Internet-das-Coisas e tornou-se um evento proeminente a nível Europeu que atrai a indústria e a investigação de todo o mundo para debater e demonstrar a Internet-das-Coisas de hoje e do futuro.
O UNINOVA e a Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade Nova de Lisboa, juntamente com o IoT Forum (http://iotforum.org), têm a cargo a organização do IoT Week 2015 Lisboa.
A IoT Week 2015 é dedicada à Internet-das-Coisas (IoT) de larga escala.
Para além do recheado programa, a IoT Week 2015 contempla também um hackathon IoT – o primeiro de sempre em Portugal. Um hackathon IoT é um fogo de inovação e excelência prática em redor do qual os magos da tecnologia IoT se reúnem para criar soluções admiráveis. O hackathon IoT da IoT Week 2015 Lisboa terá, entre outros, uma seleção de renomados laboratórios IoT relacionados com a Internet das Coisas da indústria, das PMEs e das universidades portuguesas.

O hackathon IoT será aberto ao público em geral e onde se perspetiva uma grande visibilidade e atenção dos media.

O hackathon IoT 2015 Lisboa decorre em simultâneo com o IoT Week 2015 Lisbon, no pavilhão III do CCL, durante terça-feira e quarta-feira das 8h-20h e quinta de manhã.

O espaço do hackathon IoT para os participantes no evento. O hackathon IoT estará aberto ao público e media das 9h até às 18h de cada dia.

The IoT Hackathon Lisbon will be held at Lisboa Congress Centre (CCL) from 8AM to 8PM on June 16th and 17th.
Thursday, June 18th, the IoT solutions will be evaluated and there will be an award ceremony within the scope of the IoT Week 2015 Lisbon.

IoT Hackathons are melting pots of hands-on innovation and excellence where the IoT tech wizards create the magnificent IoT solutions.

The IoT Hackathon 2015 Lisbon is composed of a restricted selection of the most renowned IoT-related labs from Portuguese and European Industries, SMEs and academia/institutes. There are no costs for taking part on the IoT Hackathon 2015 Lisbon!

The IoT Hackathon 2015 Lisbon will be an open event for the general public with high visibility and great coverage from the press. The IoT Hackathon is being promoted by UNINOVA, FCT-UNL and the IoT-Forum and is organised with local support of the FCT-UNL Electrical and Computer Engineering Students' Group (http://www.neec-fct.com).

The IoT Hackathon is a competition where teams will develop a prototype of an IoT solution in 48 hours (24 of these will not be on site, teams will have on site access during the opening hours of the CCL). Teams are composed of up to three developers + 1 host (which will explain to the public / media what they are trying to do, added value and innovation of the solution, etc).

During the days of IoT Hackathon several organisations will present their IoT solutions inside a properly equipped room, inside the IoT Hackathon area. This area is designed to accommodate 150 people.  These events will be open to all attendees.

We have limited slots for teams participating in the IoT Hackathon (about 30) and we will have to chose the best projects among those who apply to the IoT Hackathon Lisbon!

Several of the most important stakeholders in the IoT domain will be in Lisbon and will take part in the Hackathon (visiting, judging, participating). This will provide an unequal opportunity for the participating teams to showcase their innovative ideas to the most notable European professionals.

The event will have an outstanding media coverage and is being disseminated by a professional communication and marketing team. This will give grand visibility to the participating teams and their original IoT solutions.
