Description

Raquel has received her M.Sc. degree in Micro and Nanotechnology Engineering from Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologias, Universidade Nova de Lisboa in 2015. During her academic journey, she had the opportunity to develop the master thesis, Cellulose-based composites as functional conductive materials for printed electronics, at Cenimat|i3N, with the supervision of Prof. Dr. Luís Pereira (FCT-UNL).

She is now working as research fellow on the New-Fun project, focused on the development of cellulose nanocomposites for paper electronics.

Main scientific interests:

- Electro-conductive cellulose based composites

- Electrolyte-gated transistors

- Cellulose-based electrolytes

- Functionalized cellulose-based composites

- Screen-printing

- Paper-based electronic devices
