Tiago was born in Celorico de Basto, Portugal, in 1990. He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Micro and Nanotechnology Engineering from Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia, Universidade Nova de Lisboa in 2015. During his academic journey, he had the opportunity to develop the master thesis, Field-Effect Transistors Based on Zinc Oxide Nanoparticles at CENIMAT|i3N, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Luís Pereira (FCT-UNL). He is currently working as a research fellow on the New-Fun project, also under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Luís Pereira. This project is focused on the development of cellulose nanocomposites for paper electronics. Main scientific interests: - Electrolyte-gated transistors - Cellulose-based nanocomposites - Oxide nanoparticles (ZnO, Cu2O) - Screen-printing - Paper-based electronic devices
