Professor Rodrigo Martins was invited to be a distinguished member of the board, also as a Expert in Materials Science for the "LET'S 2014 CONFERENCE" (Leading Enabling Technologies for the Societal Challenges) will be organized in Bologna, under the Italian Presidency of the European Union, with the endorsement of the Italian Ministry for Research and Education (MIUR) and of Emilia-Romagna Region. The event, supported by the European Commission (http://cordis.europa.eu/projects/rcn/108991_en.html), will be organized by the National Research Council of Italy (CNR), together with the Agency for the Promotion of the European Research (APRE) and the Regional Agency for Innovation of Emilia Romagna (ASTER).
The LETS 2014 CONFERENCE will debate on how to efficiently exploit the results of research and technological development in the field of nanotechnologies and advanced materials, manufacturing and processing (FP7 NMP themes) in order to transform these results into products, processes, systems and business models able to face the societal challenges, through the support of excellent science and key enabling technologies, in the frame of the Horizon2020 Programme for European Research and Innovation.
